Library

The Central Library of Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology is a vibrant knowledge hub that supports teaching, learning, research and innovation. The library houses a rich collection of 43,614 books, 3,147 book CDs, 736 periodical CDs, and 2,623 back volumes of periodicals. It subscribes to 68 National Print Journals and provides access to leading electronic resources such as Elsevier ScienceDirect, DELNET, and the National Digital Library of India.

To enrich learning beyond the classroom, students can access renowned open-learning platforms such as NPTEL and Khan Academy, offering extensive video lectures and learning resources in Engineering, Science, Humanities, and Management.

The Digital Library provides computer systems with internet access, enabling seamless use of electronic resources. The Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) allows users to search the library collection by title, author, subject, and keywords. All circulation activities, including book issue and return, are fully automated through barcode technology and organized using the Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) system.

  • 8:45 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (during working days)
  • 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (during holidays)
