Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology has been a consistent topper for several years in the list of campus placement records among private institutions in India. It is a proud privilege that the graduates from SRIT are highly rated by employers from industry both in the private and public sectors. Guidance and support for students aspiring for a career in industry or entrepreneurship or wishing to take up higher education is the primary responsibility of the Placement and Training Centre. Special support and guidance is also provided to students who wish to pursue higher education in the form of GATE and CAT training.

Objectives

• To prepare students to face campus interviews by providing training in the areas of General Aptitude, Verbal Ability, Soft Skills, Technical Proficiency and Specific skill development related to GDs and Interviews
• To organize campus interviews for final year students with industries and business houses of repute from all over India and Abroad
• To arrange for final semester Industry-sponsored project for the students
• To promote career counseling by organizing guidance lectures by senior corporate personnel and well placed SRIT Alumni
• To organize Mock Tests, Mock Interviews, Group Discussions and special industry and domain specific training by the SRIT Alumni Association
• To focus on overall development of the student through Outbound Training at Prof.PRR centre, Anaikatti.

Industry TIE-UP

At SRIT, Industry Institute Interaction is an ongoing process. The Placement Cell takes initiative in bringing in industry experts for interactive sessions with students. The Institution has signed MoUs with various companies and research organisations. Some of the companies include Virtusa, Infosys Ltd., Cornitel Infotech etc. The Institution has signed MoUs with Ariel University, Israel, Universiti Malaysia, Perlis etc.
