Cluster Description:Advanced Theoretical Computer Science Research Cluster (ATCSRC) consists of high-performance systems, storage devices and softwares which are used for research and teaching purposes. The cluster is equipped with the latest software and hardware components.
Access to the Cluster: Access to the Cluster is restricted to authorized members, such as students, faculty, and staff of SRIT. Access may also be granted to outside researchers and visiting faculty, subject to the approval of the cluster head.
Members Responsibility: Members are responsible for observing all policies and guidelines regarding the use of the facilities in the ATCSRC. Members should take all necessary precautions to protect the confidentiality and integrity of their data.
Data Handling and Management:All data stored must be backed up regularly. Members should also take responsibility for the retention and archiving of their data, and should ensure that they have adequate backup copies.
Software Installation: : Installation of new software packages on the Cluster is strictly controlled by the cluster head. Members who need to install new software must first obtain approval from the cluster head and provide a detailed description of the software and its intended use.
Members Support: The cluster head is responsible for providing technical support to members of the ATCSRC. Members are encouraged to report any problems they encounter, and to seek help when they need it.
Violations of Policy:Any violations of the policies and procedures outlined in this SOP may result in the suspension or revocation of a member’s access to the ATCSRC. The cluster administrator will investigate all reported violations, and will take appropriate action, in accordance with College policies and procedures.
Review and Revision of SOP:The SOP for the Advanced Theoretical Computer Science Research Cluster will be reviewed and revised periodically to reflect changes in technology, policies, and best practices. The cluster head is responsible for ensuring that this SOP remains up-to-date and relevant to the cluster.
