Advanced Mathematics and Science Research Cluster (AMSRC)
To promote research and enhance good research among the faculty members in inter / intra disciplinary environment.
To kindle the research interest among the students of our programme of study.
To promote product development and increase the IPR of the cluster using the advancements in technology relevant to Multidisciplinary Engineering.
To promote research activities in Electronics and Communication Engineering relevant to Image Processing, Telecommunication, Signal Processing, VLSI and Embedded domains.
Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
The Advanced Mathematics and Science Research Cluster consists of mathematical softwares which are used for research and teaching purposes.
Access to the Cluster is restricted to authorized members, such as students, faculty, and staff of SRIT. Access may also be granted to outside researchers and visiting faculty, subject to the approval of the cluster head.
Members are responsible for observing all policies and guidelines regarding the use of the facilities in the Cluster.
All data stored must be backed up regularly. Members should also take responsibility for the retention and archiving of their data, and should ensure that they have adequate backup copies.
Installation of new software packages on the Cluster is strictly controlled by the cluster head. Members who need to install new software must first obtain approval from the cluster head and provide a detailed description of the software and its intended use.
The cluster head is responsible for providing technical support to members of the Cluster. Members are encouraged to report any problems they encounter, and to seek help when they need it.
Any violations of the policies and procedures outlined in this SOP may result in the suspension or revocation of a member’s access to the Advanced Image Processing Cluster. The cluster administrator will investigate all reported violations, and will take appropriate action, in accordance with College policies and procedures.
The SOP for the Advanced Image Processing Cluster will be reviewed and revised periodically to reflect changes in technology, policies, and best practices. The cluster head is responsible for ensuring that this SOP remains up-to-date and relevant to the cluster.
