Seminar on Cyber Security and its Future on Quantum Computing

A Seminar titled “Cyber Security and its Future on Quantum Computing” was organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering on 02.11.2023 at 2.00 am in Seminar Hall -I. The Resource Person for the event was Dr.S.Rajesh, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering and Dr.M.Kalpana Devi, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering. The participants were nearly 58 students from CSE department in SRIT and 4 students from SREC has joined this event.  The event started by addressing the welcome note by Santhosh Kumar.P from Third year CSE C. Later, the chief guest introduction was delivered by M.RUDRAPRIYA.

 The session was handed over to the resource person and he started his session by sharing the current trend that are essential for the company. He stimulated and inspired the students to gain knowledge in the cyber security. It was more interesting and essential for today’s world. The queries were elevated by the students and he responded clearly with good examples. Finally, Dr.M.Kalpana Devi, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering continued her speech on Quantum Computing. She presented the topics on new technologies like algorithms, Error corrections on quantum computing and mentioned the topics that are strong for the placement.

The vote of thanks was delivered by Dr.M.Kalpana Devi, expressing her gratitude to the resource persons and the students who participated and made this event a great success. It was useful and essential for the growth of the students. The feedback link was disseminated to the students and were made to complete. The event came to an end by having a photo session.
