The YRC and RRC units of Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology have conducted an awareness programme on HIV/AIDS at college premises. The resource persons for this programme are Mr.M.S.Jayakumar, STD Counsellor, Coimbatore Medical College Hospital and Mr.K.Sampath Kumar, ICTC Counsellor, Coimbatore. They have briefed about the consequences of teenage drug addiction, alcohol abuse, E-cigarette and HIV/AIDS. Students from various disciplines of Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology have participated in this awareness program. At the end of the programme, the students have taken the pledge.
